Job Description

You should demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for financial markets, company news and international relations, as well as an in-depth knowledge of Myanmar’s economy and politics. You are able to make quick decisions in a real-time news environment and thrive under pressure, whilst possessing the writing skills to explain complex material in simple terms. You should be able to see the news story behind a chart or graph.
The Executive Producer oversees all aspects of news production for Bloomberg Myanmar, leading editorial meetings and steering the news agenda.
The Executive Producer must be uncompromising in their dedication to the highest journalistic standards and top production values to create content which closely adheres to Bloomberg’s format, policy and guidelines.

Job Requirement

- A Bachelor’s degree and substantial experience in a senior journalistic or leadership role
- The ability to lead in the high pressure environment of a TV newsroom and meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of business and financial news and international news stories and issues, as well as TV Programs.
- Strong writing, editorial and production skills
- An excellent command of English
- A willingness to learn and adopt Bloomberg values and standards
- An understanding of social media platforms and experience with various digital platforms is desirable.
