Job Description

- Work with General Manager for managing P&L of the KMTL.
- Strategy – Work with General Manager, AGM-Commercial and Regional Port & Logistics-GMR team on Planning, designing and implementing strategy of the operations to ensure company targets are met.
- Recommend strategic plans and reviews, prepare and complete action plans
Work in line with General Manager in order to optimize/ control the operations cost and drive

profitability to achieved budget Operational management

1. Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. Ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
2. Responsible to consider and endorse on the operations proposals will be conduct within the company.
3. Lead teams in order to effectively execute activities to meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.

4. Manage and develop direct reporting staff.
5. Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
Strong Team Management – Drive team directly and through regional and functional leaders. Able tomanage, motivate, train and influence the team member to keep high team morale.
- Awareness and Communication – Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization. Be an effective communicator with Headquarter, other regions and internal Myanmar Team.
- Performance Management: Set up and monitor efficiency & targets, respective KPI’s for/of staffs, reinforce and support people development of employees.

Job Requirement

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management/ Engineering/ Maritime or related field is preferred.
- Master or other degree in Business Administration is a plus
- At least 7 years of experience of Operations in Port Logistic, Transportation, Warehouse Management, Container Management with Minimum of 5 years in Senior Management positions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good command in both written and spoken English and Burmese.
- Strong leadership engaging and driving team to success
- Skilled in all office software and the operations systems

- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving, organizational, planning skills, accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Possess knowledge of Port & Logistic, Rail and transportation operations
