Job Description

As Multiplatform editor brings everything together. The Multiplatform editor’s role is to stay across all incoming news stories and edit/arrange them for social, desktop and mobile integration adding headlines, graphics and headlines where applicable.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Packaging and promoting content for web, mobile, social and apps
• Generates story and content ideas
• Contributing to special features and stories – using existing resources or creating from new (graphics, blogs etc)
• Identifying emerging trends using data and social before they go viral as well as proactively reacting to those trends – flagging editors in order to get ahead of the competition
• Writing headlines and teasers for social sites
• Focus on growing social engagement on existing and new social platforms

Job Requirement

• Content management system experience on desktop, web and mobile and be a native Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat and social messaging app user.
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of video production and editing
• Knowledge of graphics
